MRseasons styles

The theme includes 10 style variations, 2 or 3 for each season, ideal for sites dedicated to seasonal events or if you want to change the mood during the year.

Below there is a short description of the styles while the image shows the style list taken from the theme editor interface:

  • Winter: a classic dark blue inspired by the winter nights, which is the default style (highlighted in the image), and a combination of brown and gray that recalls the dirty snow.
  • Spring: a pink celebration of sakura and a combination of the green tones of the growing grass.
  • Summer: two different styles inspired by the days spent at the beach and a slightly extreme combination after the sun.
  • Autumn: mushrooms, falling leaves and the colors of wine are all represented in this season styles.

Headers / footers

MRseasons includes 3 headers and 2 footers, based on the colors defined in the styles, ready to use for a quick start and easily customizable via the editor if needed. It is also possible to make the header sticky, with a shrink effect on scrolling, adding the custom CSS class “mrseasons-sticky” to the header group block. A template part with the default header and the sticky effect is included in the theme as a reference.

Below two samples based on the muddy winter style and one of the summer variations.

Patterns

The theme comes also with several patterns to ease the process of building pages and blog posts keeping the look and feel defined by the style. The focus is on content with images, but common features like CTA blocks and tier tables are included.

Excluding a couple of cases where specific CSS classes have been added to get the desired effect, patterns are usually made with core blocks and standard customizations available in the editor, so it is really easy to apply changes once a pattern is added to the content without messing with the theme files.

Below a couple of examples of available patterns using the default style.

Quality of life additions

There are things that most of the times are needed but not available by default in full site editing and without some coding skills (or a plugin when that is not an option). MRseasons includes by default some quality of life changes that are usually requested, like the footer always at the bottom of the page even with no content, disabled contents (i.e. the comments section) that take no space and the author’s favorite: a justified alternative style for the paragraph block effective also in the editor.
